On May 23rd, Prof. Alessandro Marroni, President & CEO of DAN Europe Foundation, visited the 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 as an Invited Lecturer. He delivered a captivating lecture on “𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘏𝘺𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘦”, sharing groundbreaking insights drawn from decades at the forefront of diving safety and medical research. This special occasion also marked the graduation ceremony for students specializing in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 - a proud milestone for the next generation of diving and hyperbaric medicine professionals. Alongside Prof. Gerardo Bosco (Chair of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine, Università degli Studi di Padova (UNIPD) / University of Padua), Prof. Marroni toured the Hyperbaric Medical Center, guided by Prof. Predrag Brkic, Head of the Baromedicine Department. The delegation received a warm welcome from Prof. Tatjana Simic, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
